Supported Browsers

The Facility Scheduler application performs best when viewed using the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browsers. 

Sometimes, a new feature or enhancement is introduced during a regular maintenance release, but you do not see what's described in the release notes. If you have confirmed you are assigned the correct permissions and still cannot see the new fields, it's likely you simply need to clear the cache, or browsing history, in your browser.

The cache (pronounced CASH) file stores temporary files and cookies from websites you frequently visit. These files improve the loading times for apps and internet sites; however, they may prevent you from seeing recent screen changes such as new field names or newly added navigation menus.

  Pro Tip: It's a good practice to clear your browsing history following all maintenance releases. 

 

Microsoft Edge

To clear your cache or browsing history:

1. Close the application you are viewing.
2. Click the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner of the browser. 
3. Click Settings in the menu.
4. Click Privacy, search, and services in the side panel.
5. Scroll down to Clear Browsing Data and click Choose what to clear.

6. Select the following options:
   1. Cookies and other site data
   2. Cached images and files
7. Click Clear now.
8. Close the Settings tab.
9. Enter the URL or click the link to access the application. 

 

Google Chrome

To clear your cache or browsing history:

1. Close the application you are viewing.
2. Click the three stacked dots in the upper right corner of the browser to access the Customize and Control menu. These options are managed by your organization; therefore, the options you see may be slightly different from those pictured below.

2. Click History > History in the menu.
3. Click Clear Browsing Data in the History panel. 
4. Select the following options:
   1. Cookies and other site data
   2. Cached images and files
5. Click Clear data.
6. Close the Settings and History tabs.
7. Enter the URL or click the link to access the application.
