What's New in Facility Scheduler 3.11.10.0?

Workforce Automation Contract Labor Requests (HCA Facilities)
Automated contract labor requests sent to Workforce are now scheduled based on the following criteria:
- Unfilled shifts in the first 14 days of a schedule period are sent to Workforce two weeks prior to the schedule period start date.
- Unfilled shifts for the remaining portion of the schedule are sent to Workforce for filling 21 days prior to the scheduled shift date.
Facility Scheduler
- Employee Assignment Notes: Shifts copied from the default schedule now display in the employee’s assignment notes as being created by the user who copied the schedule rather than the system ID number.
- Schedule Approval: When a second approval is required to post a schedule, the Action column in the Service Line > Schedule Metrics table now displays the text Awaiting Second Approval when this screen is viewed by the first approver.
- Shift Code Templates: Corrected an issue with self-scheduling in departments that utilize Shift Code Templates and the Limit to Target settings. Shift codes below target now display for selection
in MyScheduler.
- Permissions (HCA Only): Removed the Department – Edit Forecast Census permission from the Director, Director 2, Facility Coordinator, and Facility Administrator roles.
Staffing Dashboard (HCA Only)
- Assignment Notes: The most recently added assignment note can now be viewed by hovering over the note icon in both the Resource Assignment and Daily Roster Preview screens. Click the icon to view all notes associated with the assignment.
- Actual Census: The Actual Census numbers now only display in the Staffing Dashboard for departments using Total Equivalent Days as their unit of care measure. Important Note: This change will not
be visible immediately in the Staffing Dashboard. Users will begin seeing the update approximately 24 hours (2 shift summary periods) following the release date and time.
- Cancel Assignment: The Select Cancel Reason alert box now displays as expected when a user cancels an assignment, but fails to select a reason.
MyScheduler (HCA Only)
- PTO Requests: Corrected an issue surrounding PTO requests made for February 29th. The PTO requests now display on February 29 rather than March 1.
- MyScheduler: Corrected an issue that prevented MyScheduler from opening for employees assigned multiple skills.
