Adding an Overtime Group Rule

Access: Roles assigned the Overtime - Change Group/Rule permission. The following roles are assigned this permission by default: Facility Coordinator, Facility Administrator, Administrator 2, and Administrator roles.

Overtime groups are defined by the rules added to them. Each rule is dated for when it goes into effect and when the rule expires.

To add an Overtime Group Rule:

  1. Select Facilities to open the Browse Facilities page.
  2. Click the Facility name to open the General Info page for the Facility.
  3. In the navigation sub menu, click Overtime Rules.
  4. Click the group name to open the Facility Overtime Rule Group screen. 
  5. Click the Rules tab.
  6. In the Date field, enter the effective date for the rule. 
  7. Click the Add Rule button to open the Manage Rule form. 
  8. Select a Rule Type and enter values required to define the rule. Rule types include:
    1. Threshold
    2. Consecutive 
    3. Rest 
    4. Double Shift
  9. Click OK to save.

Each new Rule appears on the Rules tab for this Overtime Group, with a start time and effective date for each rule (except for a Consecutive rule with no period selected).
