Assignment Notes

The Assignment Notes screen displays the following information:

 

To view assignment notes: Hospital Staff Members

  1. Sign in to Facility Scheduler.
  2. In the main navigation bar, click Employees > Assignment Notes.
  3. On the Assignment Notes screen, you can view information related to each entry, with the date, time and name of the person who made the entry next to the assignment.  

 

Action

Definition

Need Entered

The Need is created.

Need Released

The new Need is released.

Assign Canceled

The Assignment is canceled.

Assign Confirmed

The Assignment is confirmed.
For departments that allow auto-approval of open need and shift trade requests, the Notes column will indicate if a request was auto-approved. 

Assign Scheduled

The Assignment is booked.

Assign Traded

The shift that is cancelled as part of a shift trade. 

Cancel Reversed

The Assignment status is changed from canceled to scheduled.

Assign Maintenance

The Assignment is changed in another way.

 

To view assignment notes: Users with assigned permissions:

  1. Sign in to Facility Scheduler with your user ID.
  2. In the main navigation bar, click Employees > Assignment Notes.
  3. Information about each scheduled assignment displays.
  4. If the shift was scheduled by someone with User access, the user's name is listed in the User column.
  5. If the employee self-scheduled for the shift, the employee's 3-4 ID is listed in the User column.
  6. If an employee scheduled an open need and there were comments associated with the need, the comments display in the Notes column.
