There are several means of communication within the Facility Scheduler application.
System Downtime: Prior to scheduled site maintenance and feature releases, the IT group will post a general downtime announcement to notify users that Facility Scheduler will be offline.
Facility Announcements: Events specific to a facility may also be posted on the Welcome screen.
Software or Feature Updates: Following a major release, a summary of features and enhancements will be posted on the Welcome screen.
Welcome Page Notifications
Note: Welcome screen notifications can only be posted by the Facility Scheduler development team.
Portal Notifications: Shift trade notifications are accessed by clicking Home > Notifications. Notifications for approvals and denials are organized by read and unread message status.

Email Notifications: Messages sent directly to a user's email account. These are most often used when setting up needs or managing requests.
