Viewing the Browse Needs - Manager View

Users: access level to browsing needs is based on assigned roles and permissions.

 

The Manager View of the Browse Needs page includes the following:  

1. The quantity of needs

2. Available staff

3. Unfilled needs

4. Date

5. Skill

6. Shift code

7. Shift

8. Comments

 

The Employee View cannot see: Qty, Avail, and Unfilled. If the employee skill matches any of the open shifts they can click schedule me.

 

1)     Click Open Needs>Browse Needs to open the Browse Needs page.

 

 

The Browse Needs page opens.

 

Browse Needs - Admin View

 

Browse Needs - Employee View

 

Browse Needs column headers defined:

 

 

Check box to select a need and Add a comment to the selected need.

 

Qty

Qty The number of open shifts available.

 

Avail

Avail The number of staff who have booked the open need.

 

Unfilled

Unfilled The difference between the Qty (quantity) and Avail (available).

 

Date

Date The day and date of the need.

 

Skill

Skill The Skill Level required, such as RN, LPN, CNA.

 

Shift

Shift The Shift code.

 

Start/End

Start / End The Shift times.

 

Comment

Comment Any user-entered comments.
